Dialysis is a life-saving treatment that performs the function of the kidneys by removing waste products, excess fluids and toxins from the blood when the kidneys are unable to work properly. Our Dialysis Department provides safe, advanced and compassionate care using modern dialysis technology.
Advanced blood filtration treatment.
Peritoneal dialysis for kidney failure.
Hemodialysis uses a dialysis machine to clean the blood. Blood is passed through a special filter where waste, toxins and excess fluid are removed before returning the purified blood to the body.
CAPD uses the lining of the abdomen (peritoneum) as a natural filter. A special dialysis fluid absorbs waste products and excess fluid, which are then drained from the body.
Dialysis is recommended when the kidneys are functioning at only 10–15% capacity and are unable to remove sufficient waste products and excess fluid from the blood.
Even if symptoms are not obvious, high levels of waste in the blood can become harmful. Our specialists evaluate each patient carefully and recommend dialysis only when medically necessary.
